The Behavioral Difference

Amazon's Leadership Principles (LPs) are the core of every interview round. Each round starts with or includes LP questions. Expect 2-3 LP questions per round. Interviewers score LPs separately from technical performance. You can pass the coding but fail on LPs.

Google's behavioral emphasis is lower. One dedicated 'Googleyness' round. Behavioral stories matter but are not as systematically scored as Amazon's LPs. Engineers who prefer deep technical focus often find Google more comfortable.

Coding Difficulty
