I am an International student. I struggled a lot in finding an internship in Summer 2024 and I failed miserably. I got depressed, cut everyone out and stayed alone with my thoughts. It was dark. I LOST HOPE IN LIFE. But I realized that wasn't the end because my main target was to get a job. I started fresh from August 2024 and changed my style to apply. I applied to all the applications that opened in last 24 hours on LinkedIn, then I searched for all the hiring managers from that company and got a list of their emails, and I sent cold emails to everyone saying who i am, what i do and how i am perfect for the recent opening. I sent at least 10 emails to 10 HRs, and followed up with all of them in next 3 days. This meant i had 20 chances for a HR of one company to read my emails and respond. This strategy was EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I heard back from a lot of HRs and i got 4 interviews from just cold emails. Out of those I got offer from a company, but they demanded immediate hiring, due to which I had to turn it down. Then I got interview schedules from a mid-size (well known) company. The process took 1 month and I had prescreen, OA, behavior Interview and technical interview. All the interviewers were very sweet and kind. It felt like they wanted to know more about me rather that knowing what I know technically (or how good I am at memorizing stuff in a week). Today I got an offer and I HAVE FAITH IN LIFE AGAIN. https://preview.redd.it/au5kw0j279he1.png?width=2000&format=png&auto=webp&s=886a0e778b6026f5119bd56b9e3495bbb9b58ef1
