University SWE onsite interviews - Will the date of an interview affect our chances?

I received an invite for the Microsoft on-site interviews for new grad SWE. The calendar has slots across the next 30 days. And I'd like to select some date around 20-25 days from now so I can conveniently prep for the interview. Is it likely that positions get filled faster on earlier dates and there are lesser chances for candidates coming in later on? I'm not sure how the university hiring process works. It would be really helpful to have some light shed on this.
