Hey guys. My online assessment is due on 2/3 and I feel under-prepared. I have to take it in either C++ or Java, both of which are foreign to me. I have good knowledge of C and I just finished taking notes on all 10 lectures of MIT's opencourseware to help prepare myself. What else can I do to prepare? I know it's only debugging but I really want to do well on this and I don't feel very confident in my C++ knowledge just from the notes I took. Should I just write my own C++ programs and practice my own debugging? I know there was a big thread the other day all about the Amazon interview process but it's probably dead by now. Thanks in advance for the tips. EDIT: can I have other windows open while taking the assessment? I expect that I will need to be googling the syntax of built in functions and whatnot. I'm not sure if they can see if I have other windows open.
