It's a subsidiary startup, led by a Japanese and deals with IT products, with an estimate of 25-30 employees. The parent company is also Japanese owned with a total of 500+ employees. I was presented an IT Engineer position which offers 60% increase compared to my previous job which has the typical minimum entry level IT wage in my country. They also have the whole "after 1 year, you can transfer to our parent company" but I told them I'll stay local for a few years. It doesn't say anything, I know, but that still left an impression. There's also the fact that it's Japanese-owned and I heard some horror stories about their work-life balance... which could be double the horror since it's a startup that was only founded this January. Seriously, I don't know what to do...
