I'm about to graduate and move across the country for work. I'm looking for apartments and the lease length at the building I want is 16 months. Given the progress of AI and Claude mythos I'm not sure

I'm about to graduate and move across the country for work. I'm looking for apartments and the lease length at the building I want is 16 months. Given the progress of AI and Claude mythos I'm not sure if I'm going to have a job in December of 2027. Are people in tech still signing long leases or should I rent month to month?
