I have a huge dilemma and need help deciding how much I should sacrafice for a good education. I'm a student that wants to go into SWE, and on one hand, the resources, education, and starting salaries at Purdue speak for themselves. On the other, graduating without debt is a blessing that's the right answer in most cases. Colgate is a middle ground that's a bit more manageable yet still prestigious in its own right while having a great alumni network. Though, while Colgate is great it's not really known for CS either like Purdue is. The reason I'm on the fence about the full ride at Troy is because their college isn't known for CS, their career fairs are on a local level, and I'm worried about finding a job post graduation. Has Colgate given anyone great oppurtunities in CS? Anyone went to Troy Uni for CS and came out thriving? If so, how can I make the most out of my stay there? Does anyone have any advice on what route to pick?
