I’m going into CS undergrad this fall, and i’m considering doing a master’s afterwards. From my understanding it is far more important to get job experience before graduation(through co-op where i graduate late) than going straight into a masters program directly after graduating. How far can I go without a Master’s degree? Is it EXTREMELY valuable if i want to build a career in AI that lasts a lifetime? To be clear I definitely don’t want to teach or is very interested in an “academic” career so i’m not considering a PhD. I want to work on the more technical side of AI but i don’t want to be limited by my education Anyone with experience, what’s your opinion/what do you think is best right now?
