I got laid off during my maternity leave 2 years ago. I decided to take a break to care of my child. Now that I’m ready to look for job, it has been so difficult. Been doing tons of leetcode prep for the last 3 months. Applied to hundreds of companies. Ending up having virtual on-sites loops for 4 companies (startups). 2 were early on and I didn’t do so well but I thought I crushed the last 2, but sadly no offer 😭 Need job asap to pay for elderly parents medical care. How do I get more opportunities? Cold applications, cold messages on LinkedIn.. nothing seems to be working. I even write personal cover letters (without AI) for companies I am more interested in. I have experience from Amazon previously and some startups/mid size companies too. Do you think it’s worth doing an online AI course? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Location: Seattle area
