I have an onsite interview this week for an office/accounting/admin type role. I’ve already had a phone screen with the recruiter and a Zoom interview with two people. Now they’re bringing me in for a two hour onsite with several team members. They said most of the questions will be behavioral, the “tell me about a time when…” type questions. I’m usually pretty comfortable with interviews, but I’d love advice from people who have gone through longer panel-style interviews like this. What should I expect and how can I prepare? Also, I’m going to be honest, the Zoom interview had a lot of behavioral questions too and I felt like I really fumbled through parts of it. I felt like I didn’t know how to answer some of them, so I’m a little nervous going into this one. Another question I’m struggling with: the job is hybrid with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home. They asked why I like that schedule. I genuinely do like the flexibility of working from home, but I also enjoy being in the office sometimes. What’s a good way to answer that without sounding like I only want to work from home? And one more thing… does making it to this onsite stage seem promising? I’m hoping it’s a good sign, but I’d love other people’s perspective. Any tips, examples, or advice would be super appreciated!
