I'm currently applying for a Data Analytics Lead position and have gone through a series of interviews. Here's a breakdown of my experience so far: 1. First Interview (20 minutes with HR): This was mostly about my resume and salary expectations. 2. Second Interview (30-35 minutes with the Recruitment Head): This interview was more informal and focused on situational and personality questions. The recruitment head mentioned she saw my profile and thought I was a good fit. She highlighted that I seemed more mature compared to other candidates. We discussed the organizational culture and the transition from a tech (WFH) to a manufacturing (onsite) environment. She also mentioned that I would be working directly with the company president. 3. Third Interview (16-18 minutes with the President): The president was 8 minutes late due to another call. He seemed to be reviewing my resume and asked me to introduce myself. Although I had prepared a detailed introduction (as suggested by the recruitment head), I was cut short. He asked me four questions: two about my current role and two about process improvements in my previous role. After each question, he appeared to be listening intently and acknowledging my responses by nodding. After asking about my previous office location, he said he would review my resume, waved bye, and ended the call while still reading something. I was left a bit confused about whether I should end the call myself. Is such a short interview with the president a bad sign like his not interested, or is this typical? Is this a normal part of their busy schedule? Any insights would be appreciated!
