Last week I interviewed for a job that seemed perfect for me. I thought it was looking very promising, they even said I did great and answered their questions really well. The next day, the contacted me for another interview that day - this one felt a bit more intense/grilling but again at the end they said I did great and they’re sure I’ll hear from them soon. Come to find out I didn’t get the job AND I saw they reposted it. I’m feeling pretty down about it all Editing to add some details that keep getting questioned: - No I’m not assuming I didn’t get it, I was told directly - I asked for feedback when I got told I didn’t get it, and I was told there was no feedback and I did very well - I also got confirmation that the posting was for the same role so it’s not an automated repost. - It was a very small company and multiple rounds of interviews, so I don’t think it was just collecting data but if so how weird.. - It was for a very small company and there wasn’t any internal people it could be for, but even if so why would they repost it - I did not and am not reapplying but I did tell the recruiter I’d like to be reconsidered, but I’m not banking on that
