Before i start, a little bit about me: I am a Backend Developer with 5 Years of Experience working in Top product based company in India. I have been on both side of table so I know what interviewers are actually watching for. Please note that, * I have not taken the paid version of these apps, since they claim that the free session is similar to paid ones. A little bit about the testing enviornment * Tested the Apps on DSA rounds and techno managerial round only with same question asked to each app in the same manner * I have given 5-10 mins to each app as per their free session tier * I have used one easy, one medium and one hard problem from leetcode for DSA In total i have Tested 4 tools: **Final Round AI, Parakeet AI, LockedIn AI and Koalaa AI.** Spent way too much time on this but here's what I found. **1.** [Parakeet AI](https://www.parakeet-ai.com/) **-** **Credit-based** pricing sounds flexible, the interface is clean. The overlay screen was fixed, you cant move it as per your choice, which is a li'l weird. The solutions were correct for all problems and a cleaner interface. Almost on the pricier side with **38$ for 3 hours**. It gives all sorts of insights post interview, so if you want a summary of your interview, you got it. 2. [Final Round AI](https://www.finalroundai.com/) **-** This is another take on cracking inteviews, product is same as any other competitor but a little complicated, i feel like they are trying to cover everyone out there, also makes me question if me selecting so many inputs before starting a session makes any difference (spoiler alert - it doesn't xD). But **100$ is way too much**, also their testimonials on the website seems AI generated. Lost me there 3. [Koalaa AI](https://koalaa-ai.com/) \- I came across this recently, I tried it. The Biggest disadvantage is, it's only for MacOs right now. But It was delivering results, so basic USP works. The 2 biggest shocker was the prices, just **4$ for 1 hour** and it lets you take **multiple** **screenshots** to answer which was a good feature. 4. [LockedIn AI](https://www.lockedinai.com/) **-** I came across this recently, i tried it. It works on all usecases it says, but sometimes it is giving too much information on my screen, i mean i have to copy the code man, just give to me straight. It **gives 35 $subscription** it seems which was a big No for me. **TL:DR;** So, if you want a ecosystem with past interviews insights, anaysis and feedback - parakeet is good, go for credits - 39.50$ is their minimum offering if you just need to get it through few interviews and have a tight budget go for KoalaaAI. I would discard Final Round and LockedIn AI solely cuz of pricing and subscriptions, personally i don't want subscriptions hanging over my head. Look I am not trying to justify using them, thats your call. I personally don't use these tools in an interview because i am almost on the senior position and can't jeopardize everything. But I was curious about what's the hype is all about. Are there any tools I missed?
