I'm a software engineer with 6 years of experience in a niche industry. After 2 years of unemployment, I finally managed to get an interview with one of the few companies that work in the same field, for a position doing the same stuff i did at my previous job, and I satisfy all the requirements. However, I suffer from anxiety. The night before the first introductory interview i couldn't sleep well and the interview didn't go well. I was freezing up during the introduction and i couldn't respond to questions like "what value will you add to our company". I'm confident about my skills and I think i can perform well. Do interviewers reject you in this case, or do they consider your anxiety and proceed to the next technical interview?
