I had an interview today and I was so relaxed and jovial. It was for a receptionist role and I did it virtually. The guy was also jovial too, smiling all through. He said my resume is good and he’s impressed by my volunteer work. Also said he’s had a good time talking with me. I was quite chatty too, yunno trying to mirror his actions. And it made me realize that when I’m interviewing for entry level roles, I tend to be way more relaxed (I never get tensed about such interviews). The interview was at 10am EDT today and I got up from bed at 8am, and used about 30 minutes to prepare. BUT when I’m interviewing for more professional roles, that’s when the nerves start hitting. Like last week I had a 5-person panel interview, and I was nervous but I did well. Anytime I have a panel interview, I’m nervous. Anyone else feel the same way?
