Made it to 3rd round of interviews last week and I haven’t heard back from the hiring manager.

I need some advice here because I’ve been checking my email non-stop. I had 3 interviews with a company. The first was with the hiring manager, the second was with a panel of 3 employees, and last week was with the VP of Sales. I emailed the hiring manager on Tuesday, but haven’t heard back. When I interviewed with the panel, there were some technical issues, and one of the panelists called me from her personal cell. We connected because she went to the same University as I did. She mentioned that I could text her if I wanted to know what status of the role, and she also mentioned that she hoped to work with me if I got hired. My question is: should I text her? I was thinking of texting today and positioning it with March Madness since our school is playing today. For additional context: the hiring manager informed me that she was sending 3 candidates to the 3rd round since she had 2 positions open and was hoping to have someone in place the week of March 30th.
