Great interview to "good luck with your search"?
Interview Experience
Please help me from spiraling and/or tell me to get over it and move on lol. I had a final-round interview last week with three people -- an SVP, a senior officer (my closest peer), and a research associate. I thought the interview went really well: There was a lot of nodding at what I was saying, someone told me I was "speaking their language," the senior officer said I was describing my work style as exactly the same as how they do business, and I got a big laugh at the end with a comment I made. Fast forward to me sending thank you notes, and the SVP (who works in communications, mind you), ended her reply with "good luck with your search!" I cannot help but think that, despite all the good vibes in the interview, she wouldn't have said that -- as a comms person -- if I was going to get an offer. She isn't the hiring manager, but still doesn't seem like a great sign. Appreciate any insight or thoughts -- good or bad -- so I can stop fixating on this until I hear either way from my HR contact. Sigh.
