That's the only way I can make sense of questions like "would you rather be paid in $$ or in tokens". If your company believes you need tokens to do your job, they should provide the tokens, the same way they provide other tools you need to do your job like a computer, cloud storage, IDE licenses, etc, etc. They should pay you what you're worth *and* provide the tokens you need for them to get the value they expect, it shouldn't be an either/or. If you're using tokens to do your job and your company isn't providing them, you should get together with other employees and convince your company that they need to do that. Because that smells of wage theft to me.
