Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about LeakCode — what it is, how the data works, pricing, and privacy. If you have a question not answered here, reach us via Support.

Is LeakCode the same as LeetCode?
No. LeakCode and LeetCode are separate, unaffiliated products. LeetCode is an online coding practice platform with sample problems. LeakCode (leakcode.dev) is a different service: it aggregates real interview questions reported by candidates from 7 sources including LeetCode Discuss, 1Point3Acres, Glassdoor, and Reddit, then categorizes them by company so you can see what each company is actually asking right now. The two products do not compete directly. Many people use both.
What is LeakCode?
LeakCode is an interview question aggregator. We collect real interview questions and candidate experiences from 7 primary sources, including 1Point3Acres, LeetCode Premium, Blind, Glassdoor, GeeksforGeeks, and Reddit. Content is translated, classified, deduplicated, and made searchable in one place. As of May 2026, the database contains 59,970 entries from 2,000+ companies.
Where does the data come from?
Seven primary sources: 1Point3Acres (paywalled Chinese forum), 1p3a OJ Catalog, LeetCode Premium company lists, Blind, Glassdoor, GeeksforGeeks, and Reddit. See the full Sources page for per-source coverage details. See How It Works for the technical pipeline.
Is the data fresh? How often is it updated?
The pipeline runs daily. New forum posts from 1p3a, Blind, Glassdoor, GFG, and Reddit are typically available within 24 hours of being posted. 1p3a OJ and LeetCode company lists are refreshed weekly. Translation from Chinese adds roughly 6 hours to the 1p3a pipeline. The homepage stat counter reflects the current live database count.
What does a free account get me?
Free accounts can browse company pages, see question previews, and run a limited number of searches. Full question text for paywalled sources (1p3a, LeetCode Premium) and unlimited search access require a paid subscription. See Pricing for details.
What does a paid subscription cost?
LeakCode offers monthly and lifetime plans. Monthly plans start at $30 USD per month. Lifetime plans are available for a one-time fee. See the Pricing page for current options and any active discounts. All plans are billed in USD. Stripe and PayPal are both accepted.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account page. You keep access until the end of the billing period. There are no contracts and no lock-in. For the cancellation and refund policy, see Cancellation Policy.
How does LeakCode translate Chinese content?
1Point3Acres content is primarily in Chinese. LeakCode runs this content through an LLM translation pipeline, followed by heuristic post-processing to handle interview-specific slang, abbreviations (like OOD, SD, BQ), and technical terms. Translations are quality-checked before being written to the database. Low-confidence translations are flagged for review rather than auto-published.
Is LeakCode affiliated with LeetCode or 1Point3Acres?
No. LeakCode is an independent product with no affiliation to LeetCode, 1Point3Acres, Glassdoor, Blind, or any of the other sources it aggregates from. LeakCode is built and operated by Manifold.
What companies are in the database?
The database covers 2,000+ companies. This includes all major FAANG companies (Google, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple), high-growth startups (Stripe, Airbnb, Uber, Snowflake, Databricks), financial firms (Jane Street, Two Sigma, Citadel), and mid-market tech companies. Browse the full company list.
Can I search by role, round, or topic?
Yes. Every question in the LeakCode database is tagged with role (SWE, PM, Data Science, ML, EM, Quant), round (phone screen, technical screen, onsite, system design, behavioral, take-home), seniority (new grad to principal), and topic (algorithms, system design, dynamic programming, graphs, arrays, behavioral, and more). You can filter on any combination using the search page.
How is LeakCode different from LeetCode?
LeetCode is a coding practice platform. LeakCode is an intelligence database. LeetCode gives you problems to practice. LeakCode tells you which problems a specific company has actually asked, in which rounds, what questions they ask in behavioral and system design, and what the candidate experience has been like. They serve different prep phases. For a full comparison, see LeakCode vs LeetCode.
How is LeakCode different from 1Point3Acres?
1Point3Acres is a premium Chinese-language forum. LeakCode is an English-language search layer built on top of 1p3a content plus 6 additional sources. 1p3a requires a paid subscription and reading Chinese. LeakCode aggregates the same 1p3a content (plus Blind, Glassdoor, Reddit, LeetCode, and GFG), translates it to English, classifies it, deduplicates it, and makes it searchable. For a full comparison, see LeakCode vs 1Point3Acres.
Is the content user-submitted or scraped?
Content is aggregated from public and semi-public platforms where candidates voluntarily share their interview experiences. LeakCode does not accept direct user submissions at this time. All content originates from the 7 listed sources and is attributed to those sources.
How does LeakCode handle privacy?
LeakCode does not display personally identifiable information from candidate reports. Author usernames, profile links, and identifying details are stripped before content is stored or displayed. For full details, see the Privacy Policy.
I have a question not answered here. How do I contact you?
Use the Support page to submit a request, or join the LeakCode Discord for community discussion. We typically respond within 1 business day.
How recent are the interview questions on LeakCode?
The database covers reports from 2018 to the present. The bulk of recent activity (2024-2026) accounts for roughly 60% of total reports. Companies update their question pools every 2-4 months, so older reports may reference questions that have since rotated out. Filter by recency to prioritize the freshest data.
Can I filter by interview level (L4, L5, etc)?
Yes. Reports tagged with seniority level are filterable in the company hub. Not every report has explicit level metadata; reports without level tags surface lower in default sort. For the highest-confidence calibration, filter to your target level and recent dates simultaneously.
Does LeakCode work for non-FAANG companies?
Yes. The database includes 2,000+ companies covering FAANG, unicorns (Stripe, Databricks, Notion), AI labs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral), public tech (Bloomberg, Apple, IBM), finance and HFT (Two Sigma, Citadel, Jane Street), and many mid-tier or domain-specific companies. Smaller companies have proportionally fewer reports; for very small companies, the calibration confidence is lower.
