Summer 2026 Internships Over!! 6 Offers. (Junior CS Major)

So happy to finally making this post AGAIN. I thought my internship season was over in December but then my worst nightmare happened and I lost my internship due to headcount (I had the offer and everything) recruiter promised they would get me another team, never did (AMD AI research position). I got 5 other offers besides this. I accepted 2, one for spring 2026, and summer 2026. Had a return offer from my CO-OP program where I am a ML Engineer. Turned down 2 of the offers. I start to apply for Summer 2026, in July 2025. The interview that says In progress, is the Amazon one, they gave me an offer. **What I can improve:** Definitely I still suck at Leetcode, I got almost perfect scores on Wells Fargo, Capital One, and JP Morgan and still got rejected which sucks. But some Quant Firms I applied to, the OA's were crazy and I could have done better. **Turned down:** I turned down Amazon, Automation Engineer Intern, it does not align with what I want to do and it is not very technical. Recruiter reached out to me so I took the interview, passed it super easily, got an offer 30 minutes after my interview (crazy efficient). Next one was an Internship at a big bank, I would be a Backend/AI SWE, I turned this down for the AMD offer, but got head counted so kind of regretted that. **Accepted:** I got another part time internship at a small local company, I am building some proprietary software for them to keep expenses down, AI SWE. Haven't really focused on it much, kind of get to work when I want to (unpaid sooo). My other offer is from a data defense company. I accepted for summer, will be a ML Engineer on a very small team, so I will have lots of impact. The AI/ML team is very new, so far I am one of 3 people. **Return Offer:** I work at a large defense company as a internship (ML Engineer), for fall and spring, (can do summer if I want). I just want to try other companies out, and have impact somewhere else, I will join back in fall semester. Yeah so even if a company messes with your whole summer plan. You can get other offers.
