Had a first interview with HR today and she said they have “flexible” PTO not “unlimited PTO” because when they went to unlimited PTO it was abused so now they call it flexible. I was surprised by this because research says when you go to unlimited PTO people actually take less time off and it’s better for the company because they don’t have to pay you for any unused time off when you leave. Wondering if this is a culture red flag.
