Hi guys I guess this is mostly a post to just vent my thoughts and anxieties after having to wait a week post final panel interview for a job at a big corporation (credit card company) As one does, I sent a thank you email after the final interview and the recruiter got back to me immediately saying that the interviewers thought the conversation went great and that they will be completing the process and they’ll get back to me the next week. Well now the next week (which was this week) has passed so I sent a follow up today to which the recruiter replied almost immediately again saying the following (I’ve taken out the specificities for privacy and maybe legal? Reasons idk): “Thank you for your interest in the XYZ opportunity at ABCD! We're just completing our process and hopefully will be able to come back around over the next week. Thanks again for your patience, we've enjoyed meeting with you! “ So now I am not sure if I should be waiting for a rejection over the next week or how I should feel. But anyways I just wanted to vent if anyone had any advice on if 2 weeks is a normal time for recruiters to get back to you (whether for offer or rejection) please let me know Thanks love u all
