Ive applied for IBM 7 times over the last 6 months. I have been invited to do online assessments, EVERY SINGLE TIME. I nailed all previous attempts and
passed all unit tests 100% for mid-level, senior-positions However, I just sat one moments ago, I did the exam for the associate role. The question was reasonably easier than the others but I could not for the life of my get this code to compile to hackerrank's preference. I had so much spare time that I even pulled my laptop next to me and wrote up the same solution in a notebook. It worked first time,
output matched the sample output it required. I had a further look at the question and noticed the "if__name__=__'main'__" bloc appeared to be editable. But at this point I have 6mins left and an SQL question to solve so I just binned it off entirely without passing a single unit test and moved on. Safe to say I wont be getting an interview this time around (only had one prior 4 months ago). Sorry to vent but I just want others to know that I'm also fking this up as well. EDIT: I recieved an email asking to confirm personal details and to express motivations and real world projects ive previously worked on. It appears ill be getting an interview despite failing the python question.
