Verdict Receive the offer from Bloomberg on 31st Jan. 2> Preparation : - Solved 150 LeetCode questions from Bloomberg Leetcode tagged from last 3 months. - Read both System Design I and II from Alex XU 3> all rounds were virtual 3.1> Round 1 Technical Leetcode : Only one interviewer - First 10 minutes introduction and some behavioral questions - then 40 minutes two leetcode medium questions, both came from leetcode tagged, both are from topic LinkedList.I am able to solve both correctly and run those code correctly and explain time and space complexity and also dry run the whole code. - last 10 minutes resume go through. - additional 5 minutes for me to ask them some questions about Bloomberg. 3.2> Round 2 Technical LeetCode : 2 Interviewer were there - First 10 minutes introduction and some behavioral questions - then 40 minutes two leetcode medium questions, One is from String(not leetcode tagged) and other come from Tree(comes from tagged Bloomberg) data structure.I was able to solve both correctly and explain time and space complexity and also dry run the whole code. - last 10 minutes resume go through. - additional 5 minutes for me to ask them some questions about Bloomberg. 3.3> Round 3 Technical LeetCode : 2 Interviewer were there - First 5 minutes introduction and some behavioral questions - then 50 minutes two LeetCode medium to hard questions, One is from Graph and other come from Backtracking data structure.I was able to solve both correctly with little bit fumble(not sure that solution was optimal or not) in last backtracking one and explain time and space complexity and also dry run the whole code. - last 10 minutes questions on system design. - additional 5 minutes for me to ask them some questions about Bloomberg.\ 3.4> Round 4
HR one interviewer only. - Questions on why you want to join bloomberg, and asked me 4 to 5 behavioral questions, questions like do you have other offers? do you have other process going on? and lastly explained me about Bloomberg process on whats the first 2 months looks like in Bloomberg. 3.5> Round 5 Engineering Manager : - asked me questions based on my resume experience, on technology tradeoffs , scalability and reliability. - ask me questions on system design on how you convert legacy software system into modern software system.**
