TPO notifies us that HSBC Technology India will be conducting the Campus Placement Drive soon on 21 Sept
2024. Eligibility Criteria: Eligible Course: B-Tech CS (2025 passing out batch only) Percentage Criteria: 10th- 60%, 12th- 60%, B-Tech- 60% No Backlogs Allowed Job Role: Trainee Software Engineer. Compensation: 9.00 LPA Job Location: Pune / Hyderabad / Bengaluru, subject to business requirements All The Rounds were done in-Campus only.

ROUND 1 MCQ(Aptitude + Technical ) AND CODING This round was on 1 Oct 2024. The platform for this round was CoCubes. Paper 1: The total number of MCQ's were 70 to be completed in 75 mins. It was divided into 4 sections as follows: English Usage - 20 Questions Analytical Reasoning - 20 Questions Technical - 30 Questions (DSA, OOPS, DBMS, Cloud Computing etc.) Only candidates clearing paper 1, can give paper 2) Paper 2: The coding section consisted of two questions only and you have to solve them in 30 minutes. Both questions were easy. Identifying test cases is biggest challenges. If you have done good practice on LeetCode, then it will become easy. Mostly questions were asked on arrays and strings. Basic use of data structures is needed. You must solve both questions completely to get selected. Out of 500+ students , 94 were shortlisted for

next round.

ROUND 2 VALUE ASSESSMENT TEST There were around 80+ questions in test. This was only round that we must complete from our homes(not in campus). It was a behavioral round like a psychometric test. You have to choose "what best describes you?" form 3 options , then selected option will disappear and then, choose best out of 2. It looks like quite boring task but mandatory to attempt.

NOTE: Attempt this with your full attention as it is also an eleminatory round. 83 students were selected out of 94.

ROUND 3 TECHNICAL ROUND Technical and HR round were scheduled at 23 Oct 2024 in campus only but in virtual mode. We were giving our interview online on zoom but in campus only. All the arrangements were already done by HSBC's hiring managers that arrived our campus.

Note: different questions were from different students Tell me about yourself Describe projects with working and tech used. (sometimes they go deep in tech you used) Simple DSA questions on arrays and strings Basic questions from OS,DBMS,CLOUD SQL, OOPS It was around 25-30 minutes. CONFIDENCE is the main thing that you must have there along with presence of mind. Once the interview was over, I was told to wait outside while the interviewer gave their feedback. I was sent to HR interview after 5-7 minutes only.

ROUND 4 HR Interview It was a very interactive round and you must speak whatever you can. Congratulations for being selected for HR round. How are you feeling? Have you had your lunch? Are you willing to relocate? what is your preferred location? About my hometown and college. About my family and siblings Why do you want to join HSBC? ( in this question she tried to confuse me by saying these goals be achieved in accenture and LTIMindtree also,so why do you want hsbc only?) TIPS : Be flexible to answer. Be confident , Dont panic. Be attentive and smile while giving answers. Also, ask 1-2 questions in last from them also, this shows your interest in company. It was around 10-15 minutes only.
