Onsite Interview *

Craft Demo (75 mins): *

Presentation: A 10-minute slide deck covering professional background, hobbies, and a proudest project. *

Practical Task: Candidates were provided a SpringBoot repository in advance to review. The task involved implementing new APIs to satisfy specific user stories based on an existing datastore. *

Focus: Evaluation prioritized problem-solving approaches, class design, and testing strategies rather than execution speed. Basic implementation was verified via Postman; while unit tests were not written due to time constraints, the testing methodology was discussed in depth. Use of ChatGPT was permitted. *

System Design (60 mins): *

Scope: This session expanded on the application built in the Craft Demo, focusing on high-level design and scalability. *

Discussion: In-depth analysis of schema design, trade-offs of various proposals, database selection for search optimization, indexing strategies, and query performance. *
